Avian influenza virus antigen, and booster immunization method for avian influenza vaccine in combination with mucosal adjuvant which is effective through oral administration |
abstract |
A recombinant HA antigen and a recombinant NP antigen are produced by gene recombination techniques. The recombinant HA antigen, the recombinant NP antigen and a synthetic oligo-CpG, which is a mucosal adjuvant, are administered orally to a chicken which has received the intramuscular administration of an oil vaccine at that point in time when the ELISA antibody titer in the chicken is decreased. As a result, the antibody titer is induced again by the oral administration of a mixture of the recombinant HA antigen, the recombinant NP antigen and the synthetic oligo-CpG even though the immune response induced by the oil vaccine is attenuated. |
