Disclosed is a rubber composition containing a rubber component, sulfur, and a sulfenamide vulcanization accelerator represented by general formula (I). The rubber composition is free from problems such as deterioration of physical properties after vulcanization and blooming, while exhibiting excellent adhesion to metals such as steel cords. [In the formula (I), R represents a branched alkyl group having 3-12 carbon atoms; R represents a linear alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms or a branched alkyl group having 3-10 carbon atoms; x represents an integer of 1 or 2; and n represents an integerof 0 or 1.] |
