abstract The invention generally relates to a method for taking a person's geometrico-morphological measurements and, more specifically, to a method for measuring the position of a remarkable point of the person's eye. The inventive method includes steps in which images are captured of a person in different relative postures (APIVl, APIV2, (01, X1, Y1, Z1), (02, X2, Y2, Z2)), reference points of the eye ((RCGI, RCDI), (RCG2, RCD2)) are identified and the remarkable point (CROD, CROG) is calculated as a function of the captured images. The values of the posture parameter (APIV) are obtained by placing a marker element (60, 70, 80, 700, 800) with at least one known geometric property on the person's head. Each captured image contains a representation of said marker element (60, 70, 80, 700, 800). The posture parameter is then calculated as a function of the images and the known geometric property.
