titleOfInvention An environmentally safe fire retardant protein free composition, a method of manufacturing thereof
abstract A method for producing an all purpose harmless fire rθtardant protein free composition that is adaptable to be incorporated into a range of differing material, of which said material forms an intermediate or finished product requiring fire retardant characteristics, said method including the steps of, dissolving a highly concentrated alkali in water to obtain a hydroxide anion aqueous solution; adding mono-carboxylic acids to the hydroxide aqueous solution to substantially reduce the risk of mould and/or deterioration of the composition in the material; fully dissolving the mono-carboxylic acid with the hydroxide anions in the aqueous solution so that no free mono-carboxylic acid remains in the hydroxide anion solution; adding anhydrous tri-carboxylic acid to the hydroxide aqueous solution such that the added anhydrous tri-carboxylic acid completely combines with the remaining free hydroxide anions; adding anhydrous di-carboxylic acid to ensure a pH below 4 to get an acid salt; adding carbon to the solution provided from a pH below 4 in the form of starch; adding a carbonate based metal salt or compound to the solution; adding pyrophosphate to the solution; a quick drying to achieve reduce the risk of a poor content of carbonic acid within the crystals /particles; ground the compact crystals so that said crystals become rounded; sieve and separate from the grinded crystals particulate crystals of less than 0.010mm; encapsulate the particulate crystals of less than 0.015mm such that the encapsulation provides means for the composition to remain inactive within and when applied to the material until said material is ignited by fire.
