abstract The present application relates to a self expandable endoprosthesis for treating a heart valve insufficiency. In order to provide a self -expandable heart valve stent which can be introduced into a patient's body with minimal invasion for positioning and securing a heart valve prosthesis, for example, in the aorta of a patient, the inventive endoprosthesis comprises at least one retaining means (55) for manoeuvring the endoprosthesis into and out of position within the patient.
