abstract The present invention describes a method and system for making biodegradable, suitably colored, mesh-like sheets, particularly a biodegradable packaging system for fruits, vegetables and other articles that can be colored in any color to match the color of the articles in the Packaging or to match the color scheme used by the manufacturer or to color-code the items in the packaging. Another embodiment of the present invention is a textile packaging material that has a color that matches the color of the contents of the textile packaging that is packaged by it.
