abstract Device (20) for determining information indicative of a zeta potential for characterizing an interface between a solid phase and a liquid phase, the device (20) comprising a pressure vessel (1) in which the liquid phase can be accommodated, a measuring cell (5) which is disposed downstream of and in fluid communication with the pressure vessel (1) and in which the solid phase is receivable, a reservoir (7) located downstream of and in fluid communication with the measuring cell (5), pressurizing means (19 ), which is adapted to act on the pressure vessel (1) with a pressure profile with a time-continuous pressure change such that thereby liquid phase from the pressure vessel through the measuring cell (5) in the reservoir (7) can be conveyed, and a detection device (11) for detecting the information indicative of the zeta potential at the measuring cell (5) during the application s of the pressure vessel (1) having the pressure profile.
