In a photopolymerizable mixture (A) comprising ethylenically unsaturated photopolymerizable compound(s), optionally a polymeric binder, a photoinitiator, optionally sensitizers and optionally fillers, pigments, dyes, solvents, plasticizers, antioxidants, inhibitors, UV absorbers, thioxotropic agents or flow agents, the photointiator comprises at least one diynone compound of formula X-Ctriple boundC-C(O)-Ctriple boundC-Y (I). X, Y : 1-30C aliphatic or cycloaliphatic group; 6-30C aromatic group; 5- or 6-membered heteroaromatic group; or phenyl substituted by R1> and R2>; R1>, R2>H, 1-20C aliphatic group, N(R3>)2, COOR3>, COR3>, halo, OR3>, SR3>, CN, NCO, NO2, morpholino, CO-CC-R3>, -CC-COR3>, -CC-CO-CC-R3>, O(CH2CH2O)nR3>, OCOCH=CH2, OCOC(Me)=CH2 or CH=CH2; R3>H, 1-30C aliphatic or cycloaliphatic group; 6-30C aromatic group; 5- or 6-membered heteroaromatic group; n : 1-30.
