abstract (A) Sealed dispensers having a one-way outlet valve and contg. a pressurised gas and a sterile soln. of an inhalation medicament are claimed. (B) The use of Na cromoglycate (I) and chlorbutol (II) in the mfr. of a medicament for treatment of reversible obstructive airway disease is also claimed. (C) Prodn. of aq. solns. of (I) and (II) is effected by dissolving (II) in distd. water at 20-60 deg C in a sealed or covered vessel, and mixing the soln. with solid (I). The dispensers are made of lacquered Al and are fitted with a metering valve having a metering vol. of 0.5-5 ml. The pressurised gas is N2 at 30-100 kPa. The soln. is an unpreserved soln. contg. 0.1-10% (I) and 0.25-0.6% (II).
