A description is given of a method of immobilizing an analyte on a solid surface, which is characterized by the following steps: - binding a cyclodextrin molecule having at least two functional groups to a solid surface, so that at least one functional group of the cyclodextrin molecule can further be bound covalently to an analyte, and - binding the analyte covalently to the surface-bound cyclodextrin molecule. Alternatively, the analyte can also be bound covalently to the cyclodextrin molecule first, and then the cyclodextrin molecule can be bound to the solid surface. <IMAGE> |
