titleOfInvention CONNECTING DEVICE WITH SUPPORT FIXED IN THE MOUNTING AREA
abstract The invention relates to a connecting device 3, 4, especially for attaching a ski boot 5 on a ski 1, 2. This device comprises a support element 8, on which coupling parts of a coupling apparatus, for example a front jaw and heel jaw 6, 7, are arranged. The support element 8 is fixed on the ski 1, 2 via a bearing apparatus 13, in the installation area 28 thereof, approximately centrally between the end faces of the support element 8 which are spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the ski. The support element 8 possesses two legs 18, 19 extending in opposite directions from the bearing apparatus 13 at a distance above a surface 14 of the ski 1, 2. In the area of one of the coupling parts, such as in particular the front jaw and/or heel jaw 6, 7, a lateral guide 77 is arranged between the legs 18, 19 and the surface 14 of the ski 1, 2. The lateral guide 77 comprises a sliding block fixed on the surface 14 of the ski 1, 2 and having lateral guide surfaces 79, 80 and legs 81, 82, which project from the support element 8 towards the surface 14. <IMAGE>
