titleOfInvention RESISTIVE HUMIDITY SENSOR BASED ON A SWELLABLE PLASTIC, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A RESISTIVE HUMIDITY SENSOR
abstract In order to produce a resistive humidity sensor the use is proposed of a swellable plastic, in which additives such as carbon, metal dust or the like, are dispersed in order to improve the conductivity. In a method for producing such a resistive humidity sensor, swellable plastics, especially polyimides and/or copolyimides, are dissolved in a polar solvent, such as N- methyl pyrrolidone, after which conductivity additives, such as carbon black, are dispersed and distributed homogeneously in the solution and the solution is subsequently applied to an inert substrate 1 and dried. <IMAGE>
