abstract The invention relates to novel organic compounds of the general formula I <IMAGE> in which R1 is hydrogen, an ester-forming group or a cation, R2 is a group of the formula <IMAGE> where Y is hydrogen, an acyl, a carbamoyl radical, a lower alkyl group which is optionally substituted by a carboxyl radical, an esterified carboxyl radical, an amide functionality, an optionally substituted acyl radical or by one or more hydroxyl groups, or is an optionally substituted aryl group, R4 and R5 are identical or different and each is hydrogen, a lower alkyl group, an aryl group which is optionally substituted one or more times by hydroxyl or acyloxy, or a cycloalkyl group or an optionally substituted acyl group, where the two R4 in formula IIc can be identical or different, and R5 may additionally be a group of the formula <IMAGE>, R7 and R8 are identical or different and each is hydrogen or a lower alkyl group, and R8 may additionally be hydroxyl, where R4 and R5, or R7 and R8, may together also form a ring which may optionally be part of a heterocycle, and Z is oxygen, sulphur, NOH or NR4, and R3 is an acyl radical, in the free form or, where such forms exist, in the form of their acid addition salts, quaternary salts or hydrates, to processes for their preparation and to their use.
