titleOfInvention PHOSPHORIC ACID AND METHOD FOR USE THEREOF
abstract A phosphoric acid pickle for pickling aluminium alloys in thin-film phosphating processes contains 5.00 to 35.00 per cent by weight of orthophosphoric acid, 0.15 to 3.00 per cent by weight of citric acid, 0.10 to 3.00 per cent by weight of an amino alcohol, 0.10 to 3.00 per cent by weight of an unsaturated, polyhydric alcohol, 1.4, 0.10 to 1.00 per cent by weight of wetting agent, 0.10 to 2.00 per cent by weight of a hexamine, 0.10 to 0.80 per cent by weight of the inhibitor, 0.20 to 3.00 per cent by weight of nitric acid and water to 100 per cent by weight, the phosphoric acid pickle being free of metal cations, in particular aluminium cations. The invention also describes processes for pickling workpieces made from an aluminium alloy using this phosphoric acid pickle.
