abstract | In a process for the preparation of a DNA transfer vector having a growth hormone-encoding nucleotide sequence, in which pituitary cells are isolated, mRNA is isolated from the pituitary cells, this mRNA is used to synthesize a cDNA having growth hormone-encoding nucleotide sequence, and this cDNA is reacted with a DNA transfer vector, the mRNA is isolated from the pituitaries by homogenization of the pituitaries in the presence of an RNase inhibitor preparation, thus preventing degradation of the mRNA by RNase. The cDNA is reacted with the DNA transfer vector to give a growth hormone-encoding nucleotide sequence. |
