titleOfInvention | ANALYTICAL METHOD AND REAGENTS FOR DETERMINING THE ABSOLUTELY CONFIGURATION AND ENANTIOMER CONTENT OF OPTICALLY ACTIVE COMPOUNDS |
abstract | The invention describes an analytical method and reagents for determination of the absolute configuration and the enantiomer content of optically active compounds. In a simple manner, diastereomeric derivatives are prepared by mixing with reagents under mild conditions, and the reaction mixture is submitted directly, without processing, to a chromatographic analysis. The determination of the absolute configuration can take place not only by means of comparison of retention values but also for certain described classes of substances via the preferred formation of one diastereomer. |
