abstract The invention relates to a method for producing a sensor (1) having at least one structure (2) with which surface acoustic waves can be generated and reflected, wherein a piezoelectric substrate (3) is provided, after which the at least one structure on the substrate (3) (2), after which the substrate (3) is connected to an element (4). In order to permanently or in long-term operation and optionally elevated temperatures to achieve an elongation of the substrate (3) on the element (4), according to the invention between the substrate (3) and the element (4) upon heating, the substrate (3) and the element (4) flux-free automatically connecting and at least predominantly metallic connecting means (5) provided with a layer thickness of at least 10 microns. Furthermore, the invention relates to a correspondingly manufactured sensor (1).
