Claim 1: A compound of formula (1) wherein Y is CH or N; X is O or NH; R¹ is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, C₁₋₆ alkyl, and C₁₋₆ alkoxy; R² is selected from the group consisting of C₁₋₆ alkyl, C₂₋₆ alkenyl, C₂₋₆ alkynyl, C₁₋₆ haloalkyl, C₂₋₆ haloalkenyl, C₂₋₆ haloalkynyl, C₁₋₄ cyano-alkyl, C₃₋₆ cycloalkyl, C₃₋₆-halocycloalkyl, C₃₋₆-cycloalkyl-C₁₋₃-alkyl, C₃₋₆-cycloalkyl-C₂₋₆-alkenyl, C₁₋₆-alkoxy-C₁₋₃-alkyl, C₁₋₃-alkoxycarbonyl-C₁₋₃-alkyl, C₁₋-alkylcarbonyl C₁₋₃-alkyl, C₁₋₃-alkoxyimino-C₁₋₃-alkyl, phenyl, heterocyclyl, heteroaryl, phenyl-C₁₋₃-alkyl, phenyl-C₁₋₃-alkoxycarbonyl-C₁₋₃-alkyl, heterocyclyl-C₁₋₃-alkyl, and heteroaryl-C₋₋-alkyl, wherein said₋ phenyl, heterocyclyl, heteroaryl, phenyl-C₁₋₃-alkyl, phenyl-C₁₋₃-alkoxycarbonyl-C₁₋₃-alkyl, heterocyclyl-C₁₋₃-alkyl or heteroaryl-C₁₋₃-alkyl are optionally substituted where feasible by 1, 2 or 3 substituents R³, which may be the same or and wherein said heterocyclyl is a 3- to 6-membered non-aromatic ring comprising 1 or 2 heteroatoms individually selected from nitrogen, oxygen, and sulfur, and said or heteroaryl is a 5 or 6 membered monocyclic aromatic ring comprising 1, 2, 3 or 4 heteroatoms individually selected from nitrogen, oxygen and sulfur; R³ is selected from the group consisting of hydroxy, halogen, cyano, C₁₋₆ alkyl, C₂₋₆ alkenyl, C₂₋₆ alkynyl, C₁₋₆ alkoxy, C₃₋₆ cycloalkyl, C₃₋₆ cycloalkoxy, C₁₋₆ haloalkyl, haloalkoxy C₁₋₆, C₃₋₆ halocycloalkyl, C₁₋₆ alkoxy-C₁₋₃ alkyl, C₁₋₆ haloalkoxy-C₁₋₃ alkyl, and C₁₋₆ alkylcarbonyl; A¹ is CH₂ or O; A² is a direct bond, CH₂, CH₂CH₂ or O; A³ is CH₂ or O; or an agronomically acceptable salt thereof; or an N-oxide thereof. |
