abstract | The present relates to a herbicide tolerant protein, a gene encoding the same and its use. The herbicide tolerant protein comprises: (a) a protein consisting of an amino acid sequence as shown in SEQ. ID. No. 1, and that it has at least one alanine substitution at position 176 and / or a valine substitution at position 178 of SEQ. ID. No. 1; or (b) a protein consisting of an amino acid sequence as shown in SEQ. ID. No. 3; or (c) a protein consisting of an amino acid sequence as shown in SEQ. ID. No. 5; or (d) a protein consisting of an amino acid sequence as shown in SEQ. ID. No. 7; or (e) a protein that is derived from (a) by substituting and / or deleting and / or adding one or more amino acids in the amino acid sequence of (a), and has thifensulfuron hydrolase activity. The herbicide tolerant protein herein has a broad prospect of application in plants. |
