titleOfInvention | CLOTIANIDINE LIQUID COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR USING THEM |
abstract | Claim 1: An agricultural composition characterized in that it comprises clothianidin; at least one dispersant selected from the group consisting of a sodium alkyl naphthalene sulfonate condensate, alkyl polyglycoside, and a mixture of these; an inorganic compound selected from the group consisting of attapulgite, magnesium aluminum silicate, silicon dioxide, and aluminum oxide; and glycerol. Claim 4: The composition of claim 1, characterized in that the sodium alkyl naphthalene sulfonate condensate is present in a concentration of between approximately 1% and approximately 10% w / w, where w / w denotes the weight relative to the total weight of the formulation. Claim 5: The composition of claim 1, characterized in that the alkyl polyglycoside is present in a concentration of between about 1% and about 10% w / w, where w / w denotes the weight relative to the total weight of the formulation. Claim 6: The composition of claim 1, characterized in that the inorganic compound selected from the group consisting of attapulgite, magnesium aluminum silicate, silicon dioxide and aluminum oxide is present in a concentration of between about 0.1% and about 5% w / w, where w / w denotes the weight in relation to the total weight of the formulation. Claim 8: The composition of claim 1, characterized in that it also comprises one or more excipients selected from the group consisting of an additional antifreeze agent, an additional dispersant, an antifoam agent, a preservative, a pH modifier and an additional thickening agent. Claim 9: The composition of claim 1, characterized in that it also comprises one or more excipients selected from the group consisting of an acrylic graft copolymer, a silicone emulsion, 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one and phosphoric acid. Claim 10: The composition of claim 1, characterized in that it also comprises one or more excipients selected from the group consisting of an acrylic graft copolymer in a concentration of between approximately 0.1% and approximately 10% w / w, an emulsion of silicone in a concentration of between approximately 0.01% and approximately 1% w / w, 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one in a concentration of between approximately 0.001% and approximately 0.3% w / w and phosphoric acid in a concentration between about 0.01% and about 1% w / w, where w / w denotes the weight relative to the total weight of the formulation. Claim 13: An agricultural composition characterized in that it comprises clothianidin, at least one dispersant selected from the group consisting of a condensate of sodium alkyl naphthalene sulfonate, an alkyl polyglycoside and a mixture of these, an inorganic compound selected from the group consisting of attapulgite, magnesium aluminum silicate, silicon dioxide and aluminum oxide, glycerol and at least one liquid fertilizer. Claim 14: The composition of claim 13, characterized in that it also comprises one or more excipients selected from the group consisting of an additional antifreeze agent, an additional dispersant, an antifoam agent, a preservative, a pH modifier and an additional thickening agent. Claim 15: The composition of claim 13, characterized in that it also comprises one or more excipients selected from the group consisting of an acrylic graft copolymer, a silicone emulsion, 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one and phosphoric acid. Claim 16: The composition of claim 13, characterized in that it also comprises one or more excipients selected from the group consisting of an acrylic graft copolymer in a concentration between approximately 0.1% and approximately 10% w / w, an emulsion of silicone in a concentration of between approximately 0.01% and approximately 1% w / w, 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one in a concentration of between approximately 0.001% and approximately 0.3% w / w and phosphoric acid in a concentration between about 0.01% and about 1% w / w, where w / w denotes the weight relative to the total weight of the formulation. Claim 19: The composition of claim 13, characterized in that the liquid fertilizer comprises a micronutrient selected from the group consisting of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and mixtures of these. Claim 20: A method for protecting a crop plant characterized in that it comprises combining a composition of claim 1 with at least one liquid fertilizer to form a mixture and applying the mixture on the plant, the area where the plant is growing or the area where the plant must grow. Claim 21: A method of controlling a pest characterized in that it comprises combining an agricultural composition of the present with at least one liquid fertilizer to form a mixture and applying the mixture on the pest or the environment where the pest is found. |
