abstract This provides a method for stabilizing the particle size of micronized glycopyrronium salt (such as glycopyrronium bromide) that provides a micronized product that has improved chemical and polymorphic stability even after prolonged storage. It also refers to compositions comprising said stabilized glycopyrronium salt (such as glycopyrronium bromide) and dry powder inhaler devices and capsules or blisters comprising the stabilized glycopyrronium salt (such as glycopyrronium bromide). The glycopyrronium salt (such as glycopyrronium bromide) or compositions herein can be used as a medicament, for example in the treatment of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or cystic fibrosis or related diseases. Claim 1: Method for obtaining a stable glycopyrronium salt characterized in that it comprises the following steps: a) micronizing the glycopyrronium salt, optionally in the presence of one or more different active ingredients and / or excipients, to obtain a particle size distribution ( PSD) characterized in that a D₉₀ equal to or less than about 10 mm; b) curing the micronized glycopyrronium salt by keeping the product for at least 2 hours at a temperature between about 125 ° C and about 160 ° C.
