abstract | Claim 1: A combination comprising at least two sulfonylurea herbicides and at least one third herbicide. Claim 2: The combination according to claim 1, characterized in that said at least two sulfonylurea herbicides comprise at least two of the herbicides selected from the group consisting of amidosulfurone, azimsulfurone, bensulfurone, chlorimurone, cyclosulfamurone, ethoxy sulfurone, flazasulfurone, flucetosulfurone, flupirsulfurona, foramsulfurona, halosulfuron, imazosulfuron, mesosulfurona, metazosulfurona, metiopirisulfurona, monosulfurona, nicosulfuron, ortosulfamurona, oxasulfurona, primisulfuron, propirisulfurona, pirazosulfurona, rimsulfuron, sulfometuron, sulfosulfuron, trifloxisulfurona, zuomihuanglong, chlorsulfuron, cinosulfuron, etametsulfurona, yodosulfurona, iofensulfurona, metsulfurona, prosulfurone, tifensulfurone, triasulfurone, triasulfurone, tribenurone, triflusulfurone and tritosulfurone. Claim 4: The combination according to claims 1-3, characterized in that said third herbicide is selected from the group consisting of: (a) synthetic auxins; (b) photosystem II inhibitors; (c) very long chain fatty acid inhibitors; (d) carotene biosynthesis inhibitors; and (e) mixtures of them. Claim 8: A method of selective control of dicotyledonous weed infestation in a locus by treating said locus with an amount of herbicidal efficacy of a combination comprising at least two sulfonylurea herbicides and at least a third herbicide selected from: (a) Synthetic auxins are selected from phenoxy acids such as herbicides of phenoxy-acetic acid, -propionic and -butyric acid and their 2,4-D esters and their esters and salts and MCPA and their esters and salts; phenyl acid herbicides such as dicamba; pyridyloxy acids such as triclopyr, fluroxypyr and their esters and salts; and pyridinecarboxylic acids such as clopiralide, picloram and their esters and salts; (b) photosystem II inhibitor herbicides are selected from phenyl carbamates such as desmedifam, fenmedifam and their esters; triazines such as atrazine and simazine; triazinones such as hexazinone and metribuzine; uracils such as bromacil and its salts and esters; benzthiadiazoles such as bentazone; nitriles such as 3,5-dibromo-4-hydroxybenzonitrile; urea herbicides such as diurone and linuron; amide herbicides such as propanyl; (c) very long chain fatty acid inhibitor herbicides are selected from anilide herbicides such as flufenacet; acetamides such as napropamide-M and napropamide; chloroacetamides such as acetochlor and alachlor and their salts and esters, metolachlor and S-metolachlor; (d) carotene biosynthesis inhibitor herbicides are selected from diflufenican, norflurazone, picolinaphene and beflubutamide; and (e) mixtures of them. |
