titleOfInvention METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE FREQUENCY OF DISTRIBUTION OF PATTERNS IN RESPONSE TO TRAINING OF SPERMATOZOIDS AND KIT TO CARRY OUT SUCH METHOD
abstract The present disclosure provides a method for determining the frequency of pattern distribution in response to sperm training. The method comprises determining patterns of GM₁ distribution, following induced sperm training, identifying the frequency of distribution of various patterns, and determining whether the frequency distribution of certain GM₁ patterns has been altered in response to induced training. Based on the change in the frequency of pattern distribution of certain patterns in response to induced training, either separately or in combination with other sperm attributes, the state of male fertility can be identified. Claim 3: The method according to claims 1-2, wherein the training conditions encompass exposure to one or more of the following components: bicarbonate ions, calcium ions or a sterile outflow mediator. Claim 4: The method according to claim 3, wherein the sterol outflow mediator is selected from 2-hydroxy-propyl-b-cyclodextrin, methyl-b-cyclodextrin, serum albumin, lipoproteins with high density, phospholipids, vesicles, ultrafiltered fractions of serum from fetal spinal cord, proteins that can bind to fatty acids and liposomes. Claim 27: A set of elements for determining the fertility status of a male individual, comprising a representation of various GM₁ patterns that is useful for comparative purposes or an appropriate predetermined criterion for comparing the frequencies of GM₁ patterns that are indicative of the state of fertility; and one or more one or more of the following components: a non-capacitive medium, a capacitive medium, a fixative composition, a set of appropriate reagents for analyzing the GM el and a set of coloring patterns.
