abstract | Claim 1: Herbicidal composition comprising as component A) an isoxazolo compound [5,4-b] pyridine of the formula (1) wherein the variables are as defined below: R¹ is hydrogen, halogen, C₁₋₆- alkyl or C₁₋₆-haloalkyl; R² is hydrogen, C₁₋₆-alkyl, C₁₋₆-haloalkyl, C₁₋₆-hydroxyalkyl, C₃₋₆-cycloalkyl, C₃₋₆-halocycloalkyl, C₂₋₆-alkenyl or C₂₋₆-alkynyl; R³ is hydrogen, halogen, hydroxy, C₁₋₆-alkyl, C₁₋₆-haloalkyl, C₁₋₆-hydroxyalkyl, C₁₋₆-alkoxy-C₁₋₆-alkyl, C₁₋₆-haloalkoxy-C₁₋₆-alkyl, C₃₋₆-cycloalkyl-C₁₋₆-alkyl, C₃₋₆-halocycloalkyl-C₁₋₆-alkyl, C₃₋₆-cycloalkyl, C₃₋₆-halocycloalkyl, C₁₋₄-alkyl-C₃₋₆-cycloalkyl, C₃₋ ₆-cycloalkenyl, C₃₋₆-halocycloalkenyl, phenyl-C₁₋₆-alkyl, heterocyclyl-C₁₋₆-alkyl, C₂₋₆-alkenyl, C₂₋₆-haloalkenyl, C₂₋₆-alkynyl, C₂₋₆-haloalkynyl, C₁₋₆-alkoxy, C₁₋₆-haloalkoxy, C₁₋₆-alkylthio, C₁₋₆-haloalkylthio, amino, C₁₋₆-alkylamino, N, N-di-C₁₋₆-alkylamino, heterocyclyl or phenyl; wherein the heterocyclyl is a saturated, partially unsaturated or aromatic monocyclic ring of 5 or 6 members, containing 1, 2, 3 or 4 heteroatoms of the group consisting of O, N and S as ring members; and wherein the heterocyclyl and phenyl portions of R³ may be unsubstituted or substituted with one or more radicals selected from halogen, hydroxy, nitro, cyano, C₁₋₄-alkyl, C₁₋₄-haloalkyl, C₁₋₄-alkoxy-C₁ ₋₄-alkyl, C₃₋₆-cycloalkyl, C₂₋₆-alkenyl, C₂₋₆-alkynyl, C₁₋₄-alkoxy, C₁₋₄-haloalkoxy, C₁₋₄-alkoxycarbonyl, C₁₋₄-alkylthio, C₁₋₄ -alkylsulfinyl, C₁₋₄-alkylsulfonyl, amino, C₁₋₄-alkylamino, N, N-di-C₁₋₄-alkylamino, heterocyclyl and phenyl; or its salt, amide, thioester or carboxylic ester acceptable in agriculture; and as component B) at least one additional herbicide selected from classes b1) to b15): b1) lipid biosynthesis inhibitors; b2) acetolactate synthase inhibitors; b3) photosynthesis inhibitors; b4) protoporphyrinogen-IX oxidase inhibitors; b5) bleach herbicides; b6) enolpiruvil shiquimate 3-phosphate synthase inhibitor; b7) glutamine synthetase inhibitors; b8) 7,8-dihydropteroate synthase inhibitor; b9) mitosis inhibitors; b10) inhibitors of the synthesis of very long chain fatty acids; b11) cellulose biosynthesis inhibitors; b12) decoupling herbicides; b13) auxinic herbicides; b14) auxin transport inhibitors; and b15) other herbicides selected from the group consisting of bromobutide, chlorflurenol, chlorflurenol-methyl, 2-methylbenzyl ether (1RS, 2SR, 4SR) -1,4-epoxy-p-ment-2-yl, cumyluron, dalapon, dazomet , diphezoquat, diphezoquat-methylsulfate, dimethipin, DSMA, dymron, endothal and their salts, etobenzanid, flamprop, flamprop-isopropyl, flamprop-methyl, flamprop-M-isopropyl, flamprop-M-methyl, flurenol, flurenolimidyl, flurprimimidyl, flurprimimidyl fosamine, fosamine-ammonium, indanofan, maleic hydrazide, mefluidide, metam, methiozolin, methyl azide, methyl bromide, methyl-dymron, methyl iodide, MSMA, oleic acid, oxaziclomefone, pelargonic acid, pyributicarb, quinoclane, trinoclane, trinoclane, trinoclane, trinoclane, trinoclane, trinoclane, and 6-chloro-3- (2-cyclopropyl-6-methylphenoxy) -4-pyridazinol; which includes its acceptable salts or derivatives in agriculture. Claim 8: The use of a composition defined in any one of claims 1 to 7, to control unwanted vegetation. Claim 10: A method of controlling unwanted vegetation, which comprises allowing a composition, according to any of claims 1 to 7, to act on plants, their seeds and / or their habitat. |
