abstract | Claim 1: A method for the selective control of a plant of the Brassicaceae family in a cereal crop, which comprises applying to said Brassicaceae plant an effective herbicidal amount of a composition comprising (a) a photosystem II inhibitor and (b) a protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibitor. Claim 6: The method of claim 1, wherein the photosystem II inhibitor is selected from the group consisting of ametrine, atrazine, cyanazine, hexazinone, metribuzine and simazine. Claim 7: The method of claim 6, wherein the photosystem II inhibitor is metribuzine. Claim 8: The method of claim 1, wherein the protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibitor is selected from the group consisting of sodium acifluorfen, bifenox, clomethoxyphene, clornitrophene, ethoxyphene ethyl, fluorodiphene, fluoroglyphene-ethyl, fluoronitrofen, phomesaphene, furiloxenphene, furiloxenphene, furiloxenphene , lactofen, nitrofen, nitrofluorphene, oxyfluorphene, cinidon-ethyl, flumiclorac-pentyl, flumioxazine, profluazol, pyrazogyl, oxadiargyl, oxadiazon, pentoxazone, fluazolate, pyrafluphene-ethyl, benzfenedinyl, butaphenylethyl, butamethylthio, butamethylthio, butamethylthio, butanediamide, butamethylthio, butamethylthio, butamethylthio, butamethylthio, butamethylthio, butamethylthio, butamethylthio, butanedinyl, butaphenylone, butamethylthio, butamethylthio, butamethylthio, butanediamide, butanedinyl, butanedinyl, butanedinyl, butanedinyl, butanedinyl, butanedinyl, butanedinyl, butanedinyl, butanedinyl, butanedinyl, butanedinyl, butanediamide , sulfentrazone and flufenpyr-ethyl. Claim 11: A method for the selective control of the Raphanus raphanistrum plant in a cereal crop, comprising applying to said Raphanus raphanistrum an effective herbicidal amount of a composition comprising (a) metribuzine and (b) carfentrazone-ethyl. Claim 15: A composition for selectively controlling the Raphanus raphanistrum plant in a cereal crop, said composition comprises carfentrazone-ethyl and a photosystem II inhibitor in a ratio of 1: 4 to 1:20 by weight, which selectively controls the Raphanus raphanistrum plant in a cereal crop. Claim 16: The composition of claim 15, wherein the photosystem inhibitor II is selected from the group consisting of ametrine, atrazine, cyanazine, hexazinone, metribuzine and simazine. Claim 17: The composition of claim 16, wherein the photosystem II inhibitor is metribuzine. |
