titleOfInvention COMPOSITION
abstract This refers to an oxidatively curable coating composition with which a formulation that is used to catalyze the curing of oxidatively curable coating compositions, in particular oxidatively curable coating compositions comprising an oxidative alkyd base resin, has been contacted curable. The formulations described herein comprise a triazacyclononane-based chelator; a manganese salt (II), (III) or (IV); and an alcohol or a ketone, alcohol or ketone that typically acts as a solvent for salt and chelator. It also refers to the preparation of oxidatively curable coating compositions, such already cured coating compositions and methods comprising the application of such coating compositions to a substrate.
