titleOfInvention CLEANING COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING STABLE SILVER
abstract A cleaning composition having a pH of at least 9 is disclosed, said composition comprises: (i) 20 to 85% by weight of anionic surfactant; and, (ii) a silver compound (I) having a solubility of silver ions (in water at 25 ° C) of at least 1 x 10⁻⁴ moles / L, at a level equivalent to a silver content of 0, 01 to 100 ppm, wherein the free alkali content of said composition is less than 0.01%. The composition is robust and improved cleaning composition with a stable color. Claim 5: A cleaning composition according to claim 4, characterized in that said silver compound is silver oxide, silver sulfate or silver citrate. Claim 6: A cleaning composition according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said anionic surfactant is C₈ to C₂₂ fatty acid soap. Claim 7: A composition according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a vehicle selected from talc, glycerin or triethylamine for the silver compound (I).
