Rᶜ is selected from hydrogen, halogen, cyano, C₁₋₆ alkyl and C₁₋₆ haloalkyl; or Rᵃ and Rᵇ, together with the nitrogen and carbon atoms to which they are attached, form a saturated or partially unsaturated 3-7 membered ring optionally comprising 1 to 3 heteroatoms independently selected from S, O and N, and optionally substituted with 1 to 3 groups independently selected from halogen, C₁₋₆ alkyl; and C₁₋₆ haloalkyl; or Rᵇ and Rᶜ, together with the carbon atoms to which they are attached, form a saturated or partially unsaturated 3-7 membered ring optionally comprising 1 to 3 heteroatoms independently selected from S, O and N, and optionally substituted with 1 to 3 groups independently selected from halogen, C₁₋₆ alkyl and C halo haloalkyl; R¹ is selected from hydrogen, C₁₋₄ alkyl, C₁₋₄ alkoxy and C₁₋₄ haloalkyl; R² is selected from hydrogen, hydroxy, C₁₋₄ alkyl, C₁₋₄ alkoxy, (C₁₋₄ alkoxy) (C₁₋₄ alkyl), C₁₋₄ haloalkyl, C₁₋₃ haloalkoxy and C₁₋₄ cyanoalkyl; or R¹ and R², together with the nitrogen and carbon atoms to which they are attached, form a saturated or partially unsaturated 3-7 membered ring optionally comprising 1 to 3 heteroatoms independently selected from S, O and N and optionally substituted with 1 to 3 groups independently selected from hydroxyl, = O, C₁₋₆ alkyl or C₁₋₆ haloalkyl; R³ is selected from halogen, hydroxy -NR¹⁰R¹¹ or any of the moieties of the group of formulas (2); R⁵ and R⁶ are independently selected from hydrogen, C₁₋₆ alkyl, C₁₋₆ haloalkyl, C₁₋₆ alkenyl and C₂₋₆ alkynyl, or R⁵ and R⁶, together with the carbon atoms to which they are attached, form a ring of 3-6 saturated or partially unsaturated members optionally comprising 1 to 3 heteroatoms independently selected from S, O and N and optionally substituted with 1 to 3 groups independently selected from halogen and C₁₋₃ alkyl; R⁷ and R⁸ are independently selected from hydrogen, C₁₋₆ alkyl, C₁₋₆ haloalkyl, C₂₋₆ alkenyl, C₂₋₆ alkynyl, a C₅₋₁₀ heteroaryl group which may be mono- or bicyclic comprising 1 to 4 selected heteroatoms independently between N, O and S, and optionally substituted with from 1 to 3 groups independently selected from halogen, C alquilo alkyl Cal haloalkyl and C₁₋₃ alkoxy, and a C₆₋₁₀ aryl group optionally substituted with from 1 to 3 independently selected groups: between halogen, nitro, cyano, C₁₋₃ alkyl, C₁₋₃ alkoxy, C₁₋₃ haloalkyl and C₁₋₃ haloalkoxy, or R⁷ and R⁸, together with the atoms to which they are attached, form a ring of 3-6 saturated or partially unsaturated members optionally comprising 1 to 3 heteroatoms independently selected from S, O and N, and optionally substituted with 1 to 3 independently selected groups mind between halogen or C₁₋₆ alkyl;
