titleOfInvention | TRANSDERMAL FORM OF CONTROLLED RELEASE FOR THE TREATMENT OF SKIN INJURIES |
abstract | A transdermal form of controlled release for the treatment of skin lesions, which comprises an antibiotic of the fluoroquinolone family and a protease enzyme co-immobilized in a polymeric matrix of cryogel. Also, the present discloses a process for the preparation of said transdermal controlled release form for the treatment of skin lesions comprising the steps of: a) preparing a first aqueous solution comprising from 10 to 50% of (w / v ) of at least one hydrophilic polymer and 2.0-4.0% (w / v) of at least one polysaccharide, b) mixing the polymeric aqueous solution from step a) with an antibiotic of the fluoroquinolone family and a Protease enzyme to obtain a second aqueous solution, c) subject the second aqueous solution resulting from step b) to cycles of freezing (C) and thawing (D) at temperatures between -18 ° C to -25 ° C. Claim 3: A transdermal form according to claim 2, characterized in that said fluoroquinolone-derived antibiotic is enrofloxacin. Claim 13: A transdermal form according to claim 1, characterized in that said protease enzyme is a keratinase. |
