abstract | A sweetener syrup containing glucose, a stabilizer that is selected from the group consisting of saccharides from DP2 to DP10, sugar alcohols, monosaccharides other than glucose and mixtures thereof and flavor enhancer is resistant to crystallization and has a viscosity and a sweetness comparable to those of high fructose corn syrups and can be used as a substitute for high fructose corn syrups in food and beverages. Claim 5: The sweetener syrup of claim 1, wherein the stabilizer is selected from the group consisting of sucrose, maltose, maltotriose, maltotetraose and mixtures thereof. Claim 6: The sweetener syrup of claim 1, wherein the stabilizer is a sugar alcohol or mixture of sugar alcohols. Claim 10: The sweetener syrup of claim 1, wherein the flavor enhancer (s) comprise compounds that are selected from the group consisting of mogrósidos, esteviol glycosides, glycosylated steviol glycosides, dihesyl dihydrochalcone neo-neperpeperine, neotama, glycyrrhizine, glycyrrhizine salts , derivatives of glycyrrhizin, rubusoside and mixtures thereof. Claim 11: The sweetener syrup of claim 1, wherein the flavor enhancer (s) comprise mogrósido V and rebaudioside A. |
