abstract | Claim 1: A process for preparing the compound of formula (1), wherein R¹ is hydrogen, halogen or C₁₋₆ alkyl; R² is hydrogen, halogen, C₁₋₆ alkyl, C₂₋₆ alkenyl, C₃₋₆ alkynyl, (C₃₋₆ cycloalkyl) - (C₃₋₆ alkynyl), halophenoxy, halophenyl- (C₃₋₆ alkynyl), C (C₁ alkyl ₋₄) = NO- (C₁₋₄ alkyl), C₁₋₆ haloalkyl, C₁₋₆ haloalkoxy, C₂₋₆ haloalkenyl or C₂₋₆ haloalkenyloxy; and R³ is hydrogen, halogen or C₁₋₆ alkyl; the process comprising a) adding a compound of formula (2), where R¹, R² and R³ have the meanings described for formula (1), in the presence of an inert organic solvent, to a mixture comprising an organic nitrite of formula: R⁴-ON = O, where R⁴ is C₁₋₈ alkyl, a compound of formula (3), and an inert organic solvent; b) reacting the resulting compound of formula (4), where R¹, R² and R³ have the meanings described for formula (1), with the O-methylhydroxylamine of formula: H₂N-O-CH₃, to obtain the compound of formula (5) where R¹, R² and R³ have the meanings that have been described for formula (1); c) reduce the compound of formula (5) to obtain the compound of formula (6) where R¹, R² and R³ have the meanings described for formula (1); d) and reacting the compound of formula (6) with a compound of formula (7), where R * is halogen, hydroxy or C₁₋₆ alkoxy, to obtain the compound of formula (1). |
