| abstract | Claim 1: An emulsifiable herbicide concentrate composition containing: a) from about 25 grams per liter (g / L) to about 225 g / L, with respect to the composition, of an aryloxyphenoxypropionic acid herbicide; b) from about 600 g / L to about 950 g / L, with respect to the composition, of an incorporated adjuvant not derived from petroleum and c) from about 10 g / L and up to about 150 g / L, with with respect to the composition, of a surfactant it contains; wherein the weight ratio of the herbicide with respect to the incorporated adjuvant not derived from petroleum ranging from about 1: 3 to about 1: 33. Claim 12: The composition of claim 1 wherein: (A) the Aryloxyphenoxypropionic acid herbicide is cihalofop-butyl, phenoxaprop-ethyl, fluazifop-P-butyl, haloxyfop-methyl, haloxyfop-R-methyl, metamifop, propaquizafop, quizalofop-P-ethyl or quizalofop-P-tefuril; (B) the incorporated adjuvant not derived from petroleum is an oil derived from a plant, an algae, an animal or an oil derived from a plant, an algae, a C1-10 ester animal; and (C) the surfactant is an alkyl sulfate salt, alkylarylsulfonate salt, alkylphenol alkylene oxide addition product, soap, alkylnaphthalene sulphonate salt, dialkyl ester salt of a sulfosuccinate, sorbitol ester, amine, quaternary, ester of glycol polyethylene of a fatty acid, block copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, salt of a mono or dialkyl phosphate ester or a mixture thereof. Claim 16: A method of controlling unwanted vegetation that includes contacting the unwanted vegetation or the area adjacent thereto with the concentrate of claim 1 or a diluted mixture thereof. |
