abstract Furin formulations (e.g., rFurina) stabilized containing a sugar, sugar alcohol and / or non-ionic surfactant. Methods for diluting furin compositions (eg rFurina) are provided. Claim 1: A stabilized recombinant furin (rFurina) aqueous composition, wherein the composition comprises: (a) between 8,000 U / mL and 500,000 U / mL of rFurina ; (b) between 100 mM and 300 mM of a pharmaceutically acceptable salt; (c) between 0.5 mM and 2 mM calcium; (d) between 2% and 20% sugar or sugar alcohol; (e) between 10 and 200 ppm of non-ionic surfactant; (f) between 10 and 200 mM of buffering agent; and (g) at pH between 5.5 and 7.5. Claim 12: The composition according to any one of claims 1 to 11, wherein the sugar or sugar alcohol is selected from the group consisting of sucrose, trehalose, mannitol, and a combination thereof. Claim 18: The composition according to any one of claims 1 to 17, wherein the nonionic surfactant is polysorbate-80. Claim 42: An stabilized recombinant furin (rFurina) aqueous composition, wherein the composition comprises: (a) between 8,000 U / mL and 500,000 U / mL of rFurina; (b) 190 mM sodium chloride; (c) 0.92 mM calcium; (d) 10% trehalose; (e) 75 ppm polysorbate 80; (f) 45 mM acetic acid; (g) 46 mM HEPES; and (h) a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.
