abstract | This provides adjuvant peptides of mucosal vaccines, chimeric protein, vaccine composition comprising it and use for vaccine preparation. The peptides comprise a sequence of between 5 and 19 contiguous amino acids, which bind to the GM1 ganglioside. The peptides can be linked to different antigens to originate a chimeric protein, and both the peptides alone and the chimeric proteins can be used to make highly efficient mucosal vaccines.
