titleOfInvention A DEVICE THAT INCLUDES AN APPROPRIATE SETON TO TREAT A FISTULA, DEVICE THAT INCLUDES A TISSULAR GROWTH PROMOTER
abstract Devices and methods related to the treatment of fistulas, such as anal or recto-vaginal fistulas, in particular, by the use of a seton to fix a tissue growth promoter, such as a growth factor and / or fibrin. The various devices are particularly suitable for positioning tissue growth promoters firmly within a fistula. Thus, a device comprises a seton and a tissue growth promoter. Other aspects include devices comprising an enclosure that is provided between the portions of a set, devices comprising a set and a plurality of holes that allow the device to be sutured to the tissue, devices comprising a probe and a set that are separably connect end to end, devices comprising a clamping device for fixing the ends of a seton and devices comprising a fistula sealant adapted to be fixed on a set. Claim 1: A device comprising a seton suitable for treating a fistula, characterized in that the device comprises a tissue growth promoter. Claim 2: A device according to claim 1, characterized in that the tissue growth promoter comprises a tissue growth promoting agent. Claim 15: A device according to any of claims 1 to 14, characterized in that the seton comprises a biodegradable material. Claim 41: A tissue growth promoter for use in the treatment of a fistula, characterized in that said treatment comprises the use of a seton to fix the tissue growth promoter.
