An aqueous gypsum and cement composition comprises a binding agent that is composed of a calcined gypsum and a hydraulic cement in a weight ratio of about 4: 1 to about 2: 1, an aggregate, comprising a sand, a foamed material, or a perlite, rice husk or a mixture of such materials, a mixture comprising a fluidizing agent, comprising an aerating agent, a retarding agent and water in an amount of about 0.4 to about 0.75 parts by weight for each part of the binding agent, with the proviso that the composition of plaster and cement must not contain essentially pozzolans or lime. In addition, the use thereof is described, a procedure for the construction of buildings therewith, as well as the buildings that can be produced in this way. |
