| abstract |
Aerosol formulation that is suitable for administration to patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) by means of a pressurized metered dose inhaler (pMDI), which comprises glycopyrronium bromide in combination with formoterol. The formulation further comprises an HFA propellant, a cosolvent, and an amount of inorganic acid that is sufficient to stabilize both the glycopyrronium bromide component and that of formoterol. Optionally the formulation further comprises beclomethasone dipropionate. Spray bottle. Method to refill the bottle. Component set Claim 1: A pharmaceutical composition characterized in that it comprises: (a) glycopyrronium bromide; and (b) formoterol or a salt thereof; dissolved in an HFA propellant and a cosolvent, characterized in that said composition contains an amount of 1 M HCI in the range between 0.1 and 0.3 micrograms / microliter. |
