titleOfInvention PROCEDURE TO PRODUCE DERIVATIVES OF PYRIPYROPEN
abstract Claim 1: A process for producing compound C, represented by formula (1) in which R represents a straight-chain, branched or cyclic alkyl-C2-6-carbonyl, with the proviso that when the alkyl fraction in the alkylcarbonyl group is of the branched or cyclic chain type, R represents C3-6 alkylcarbonyl, characterized in that it comprises: the selective acylation of hydroxyl groups at position 1 and at position 11 of compound B1, represented by the formula ( 2) with an acylating agent, in one to three steps, in the presence or absence of a base. Claim 5: The process according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that it also comprises as a step to produce the compound B1 the hydrolysis of the acyl groups in position 1, in position 7 and in position 11 of compound A1 , represented by formula (3): wherein A1, A7 and A11, which may be the same or different, represent acetyl or propionyl in the presence of a base. Claim 16: A method for isolating and purifying solvate crystals of compound C, represented by formula (1): wherein R represents a straight chain, branched or cyclic alkyl-C2-6-carbonyl, with the condition of that when the alkyl fraction in the alkylcarbonyl group is of a branched or cyclic chain type, R represents C3-6 alkylcarbonyl, characterized in that it comprises: (a) the extraction of a reaction solution containing compound C, with an organic solvent selected from the group consisting of methyl acetate, ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, toluene, ethylbenzene, chlorobenzene, chloroform, dichloromethane, diethyl ether, diisopropyl ether, tetrahydrofuran and dioxane, and the concentration of the extract after drying or without pre-drying; (b) evaporation to dryness of the reaction solution containing compound C to obtain a crude product and then the dissolution of the crude product in an organic solvent selected from the group consisting of methyl acetate, ethyl acetate, acetate butyl, toluene, ethylbenzene, chlorobenzene, chloroform, dichloromethane, diethyl ether, diisopropyl ether, tetrahydrofuran, dioxane, methanol and ethanol, at room temperature or by heating; or (c) evaporation to dryness of the reaction solution containing compound C to obtain a crude product, the dissolution of the crude product in an organic solvent selected from the group consisting of methyl acetate, ethyl acetate, acetate butyl, toluene, ethylbenzene, chlorobenzene, chloroform, dichloromethane, diethyl ether, diisopropyl ether, tetrahydrofuran, dioxane, methanol and ethanol, at room temperature or by heating, and the addition of a bad solvent, selected from the group consisting of heptane, hexane and cyclohexane, to the solution.
