A solid form of bendamustine hydrochloride comprising bendamustine hydrochloride, Form 1 and / or bendamustine hydrochloride, Form 3 and / or bendamustine hydrochloride, Form 4 and / or amorphous bendamustine hydrochloride, or a mixture thereof is described. The resulting solid form of bendamustine hydrochloride has an X-ray powder diffraction pattern that contains one or more of the following reflections: 25.1; 24.9; 22.9; 22.0; and / or 14.1 +/- 0.2 degrees 2theta; or 26.1; 27.9; and / or 28.1 +/- 0.2 degrees 2theta; or 10.8; 15.5; 20.5; and / or 23.6 +/- 0.2 degrees 2theta. |
