This is directed to a method for preparing a prolonged release pharmaceutical composition comprising cyclobenzaprine, which comprises coating inert particles with a pharmacological composition containing cyclobenzaprine, in order to form IR beads, and then coating the IR beads with a coating of prolonged release to form ER beads. Claim 11: The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the pharmaceutically acceptable water soluble polymer comprises hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. |
