titleOfInvention | PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF A POLYPEPTIDE FOR PHARMACEUTICAL USE |
abstract | A process for the preparation of a polypeptide from the amino acids L-alanine, L-glutamic acid, L-lysine, and L-tyrosine which comprises using the N-thiocarboxyanhydride of at least one amino acid as a starting material. Claim 13: A polypeptide or salt thereof acceptable for pharmaceutical use, characterized in that it comprises L-alanine, L-tyrosine, L-glutamate, and L-lysine, which is prepared according to a process comprising the steps of: a) polymerize L-alanine, optionally protected L-tyrosine, protected L-glutamate, and protected L-lysine to obtain a protected polypeptide; and b) deprotecting the protected polypeptide to obtain the polypeptide or salt thereof acceptable for pharmaceutical use; wherein at least one of L-alanine, optionally protected L-tyrosine, protected L-glutamate, and protected L-lysine is an N-thiocarboxyanhydride as shown in formula 1, R represents the side chain of L-alanine, L -optionally protected tyrosine, protected L-glutamate, and protected L-lysine. |
