The compound and salt are useful as medicines, antiallergic, antiviral or antibacterial. Claim 1: An adenine compound characterized by the formula {l) wherein A is substituted or unsubstituted aromatic carbocycle, or substituted or unsubstituted heterocycloaromatic, L1 is a single bond, or straight chain or branched chain alkylene; L2 is a single union, or alkylene of the straight chain or branched chain optionally substituted with hydroxy, amino, alkylamino odyalkylamino; in the case that L2 is a single union, -NR2R3 is not an unsubstituted amino, unsubstituted alkylamino, unsubstituted dialkylamino, unsubstituted pyrrolidinyl, unsubstituted piperidino or unsubstituted morpholino; Any of one to three of the methylene group (s) in the alkylene in L2 can be replaced by oxygen, sulfur, SO, SO2, carbonyl, NR4CO, CONR4, NR4SO2, SO2NR4, NR4CO2, OCONR4, NR5CONR4, NR6C (= NR4) NR5, C (= NR4) NR5 where R4, R5 and R6 are independently hydrogen or alkyl; and one to three of the methylene group (s) in the alkylene in L1 can be replaced by oxygen; R1 is halogen, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl, substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl, substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, or substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl; R2 and R3 are independently hydrogen, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl, substituted or unsubstituted alkyls, substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted saturated heterocycle, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, or substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl, or R2 may be combined together with L2 or R3 to form a saturated heterocycle containing 4- or 8-membered substituted or unsubstituted nitrogen; and X is oxygen, sulfur, SO, SO2, NR7, NR7CO where R7 is hydrogen or alkyl, or a single bond; provided that when R1 is halogen, then X is a unicaunion, or a salt acceptable for pharmaceutical use thereof. |
