titleOfInvention PREPARED LIOFILIZED CONTAINING A VACCINE AGAINST INFLUENZA AND METHOD TO PRODUCE THE SAME
abstract A lyophilized preparation in which the influenza vaccine has improved stability. A lyophilized preparation in which the influenza vaccine has significantly improved stability can be obtained by lyophilizing an aqueous solution that meets the following conditions (A) through (C) in the preparation of a lyophilized preparation containing an influenza vaccine: ( A) (i) a flu vaccine is incorporated, (ii) a hydrophobic amino acid and (iii) arginine and an acid addition salt thereof: (B) the proportion of component (iii) is 20 to 85 % by weight in relation to the total amount of the resulting lyophilized preparation; and (C) the pH is adjusted to be 8 to 10 controlling the proportion of arginia and an acid addition salt thereof that forms component (iii). Claim 3: a lyophilized preparation according to claim 1, characterized in that the (ii) amino acid hibrophobe is phenylalanine, or a combination of phenylalanine with at least one of valine, leucine and isoleucine. Claim 9: a lyophilized preparation according to claim 1, which is a pharmaceutical preparation for transpulmonary administration. Claim 10: A lyophilized preparation according to claim 1, which is in pharmaceutical preparation for nasal administration.
