titleOfInvention COMBINATION PRODUCT INCLUDING SUBSTITUTED ARILPIRAZOLES
abstract This refers to a combination product comprising a series of 1-aryl-4-cyclopropylpyrazoles in which there is at least one fluorine attached to the cyclopropyl ring, and one or more additional therapeutic agents, particularly antiparasitic agents. Claim 1: A combination product characterized in that it comprises a compound of formula (1); wherein: R1 is CF3, OCF2H, OCF3, -SCF3, -SOCF3, -SO2CF3, or SF5; R 2 is H, fluorine, or C 1-4 alkyl optionally substituted with 1 to 5 halogen atoms independently selected from chlorine and fluorine; R3, R4, R5, and R6 independently represent H, C1-4 alkyl optionally substituted with 1 or 5 halogen groups independently selected from chlorine and fluorine, or a chlorine or fluorine; R7 is Cl or fluorine; X is CR8 or N, where R8 is Cl or fluorine; and R9 is NRaRb; Ra is selected from hydrogen, C1-6 alkyl, C2-6 alkenyl, C3-8 cycloalkyl, C (O) O-C1-6 alkyl and C1-6 alkanoyl, where each of the above groups may include one or more optional substituents when chemically possible independently selected from halo, het, phenyl, hydroxy, -C (O) OH, -C (O) O-C1-6 alkyl, C1-6 alkyl, C1-6 haloalkyl, C3-8 cycloalkyl, C1 alkoxy -6, C1-6 haloalkoxy, amino, C1-6 alkylamino and di-C1-6 alkylamino; Rb is selected from hydrogen, C1-6 alkyl, C2-6 alkenyl, C1-6 alkanoyl and C (O) O-C1-6 alkyl, where each of the above groups may include one or more optional substituents when chemically selected. independently from halo, phenyl, hydroxy, -COOH, -C (O) O-C 1-6 alkyl, C 1-6 alkyl, C 1-6 haloalkyl, C 3-8 cycloalkyl, C 1-6 alkoxy, C 1-6 haloalkoxy, amino, C 1-6 alkylamino and C 1-6 alkylamino; or Ra and Rb together with the N atom to which they are attached can form a three to seven membered heterocyclic ring containing one or more additional N, O or S atoms and where said heterocyclic ring can have one or more optional substituents selected from oxo, halo, het, phenyl, hydroxy, -COOH, -C (O) O-C 1-6 alkyl, C 1-6 alkyl, C 1-6 haloalkyl, C 3-6 cycloalkyl, C 1-6 alkoxy, C 1-6 haloalkoxy, amino , C1-6 alkylamino and di-C1-6 alkylamino; and het represents a four to seven membered heterocyclic group, which is aromatic or non-aromatic and containing one or more heteroatoms selected from nitrogen, oxygen, sulfur and mixtures thereof, and where said heterocyclic ring is optionally substituted, where the valence permit, with one or more substituents selected from halo, cyano, nitro, C1-6 alkyl, C1-6 haloalkyl, C1-6 alkoxy, OC (O) -C1-6 alkyl, C (O) -C1-6 alkyl (O) O-C1-6 alkyl and NRcRd, where Rc and Rd are independently selected from hydrogen, C1-6 alkyl and C2-6 alkenyl, where each of the above groups may include one or more optional substituents when chemically selected. independently from halo, phenyl, hydroxy, -COOH, C (O) O-C 1-6 alkyl, C 1-6 alkyl, C 1-6 haloalkyl, C 3-8 cycloalkyl, C 1-6 alkoxy, C 1-6 haloalkoxy, amino, C 1-6 alkylamino 6 and di-C 1-6 alkylamino; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or prodrug thereof; with the proviso that at least one of R2, R3, R4, R5, or R6 is fluorine, with one or more other therapeutic agents.
