titleOfInvention LIQUID COMPOSITIONS FOR THE TREATMENT OF PLANT PROPAGATION MATERIALS
abstract This includes a quick drying liquid composition comprising at least one fungicide and at least one insecticide. This also includes a method for the treatment of plant propagation materials, especially cut seeds, including tubers, against pests, a method to promote the suberization of cut seeds, a method to reduce the drying time of a pesticide liquid in the cut seeds and a method of selectively loading a pesticide on the face of the skin of a cut seed. Claim 1: A liquid composition for the treatment of plant propagation material, which comprises water, an effective amount of active ingredients containing at least one fungicide and at least one insecticide and a mixture of the following components, by weight: a) approximately 0.05-20% of at least one wetting agent; b) about 0.05-10% of at least one dispersing agent; c) about 0.05-5.0% of at least one drying agent; d) approximately 0.01-20% of at least one sub-agent; and optionally e) approximately 0-20% antifreeze; and optionally f) approximately 0-20% solvent, where the composition dries within 90 minutes of application to the plant propagation material.
