abstract Phenyl derivatives useful for treating a hyperproliferative disorder in a mammal. Pharmaceutical compositions that contain them. Claim 1: A substantially pure compound characterized in that it responds to formula (1), wherein: X1, X2 and X3 are independently a halogen; p is an integer between 1 and 3; and R is OR1, where R1 is a substituted isothiazole ring, or SR2 where R2 is (CH2) qC (COOH) (NHC (O) R3), where q is an integer between 0 and 3, and R3 is C1 alkyl -4; or a salt, solvate or prodrug thereof acceptable for pharmaceutical use. Claim 2: The compound according to claim 1, characterized in that said compound responds to formula (2), wherein: t is an integer between 3 and 5; and R4 is -COOH, -NH (CH2) kOH, where k is an integer between 1 and 5, -NH (CH2) lCOOH, where l is an integer between 1 and 5, or a 5-membered heterocycle containing nitrogen, which may optionally be substituted with one or more portions oxo (= O), hydroxyl groups, or where there is an oxygen atom attached to the nitrogen atom of the 5-membered heterocycle containing nitrogen to form an N-oxide group (NO ).
