| abstract |
A water soluble melt adhesive containing: 40 to 70% by weight of at least one homo- or copolymer with free carboxylic acid groups based on ethylene unsaturated monomers (component A); and 15 to 40% by weight of at least one water soluble or water dispersible polyurethane (component B); and 10 to 45% by weight of at least one inorganic or organic base (component C); and in 0 to 20% of other additives, where the sum of the components gives 100% by weight. The water-soluble melt adhesive is suitable for manufacturing textile assemblies of intimately bonded layers, papers that are glued together and papers of at least two layers for hygienic purposes, particularly tissue paper. |
