abstract | It refers to compounds derived from [2-hydroxy-2- (4-hydroxy-3-hydroxymethylphenyl) -ethylamino] propiphenyl, and processes for the preparation of such derivatives, to intermediates used in their preparation, to compositions containing them and uses of such derivatives. The compounds according to the present are useful in numerous diseases, disorders and conditions, in particular inflammatory, allergic and respiratory diseases, disorders and conditions. Claim 1: A compound of formula (1), wherein the group (CH2) nC (= O) Q1 is in the meta or para position, n is 1 or 2 and Q1 is a group moiety of formula (2) , wherein at least 2 of R1 to R4 are equal to H, and a group * -N (R8) -Q2-A, in which Q2 is a single bond or a C1-4 alkylene, R8 is H or C1 alkyl -4, p is 1 or 2 and A is pyridyl or a group of formula (3), in which at least 2 of R1 to R5 are equal to H, in which R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 are equal or different and are selected from H, C1-4 alkyl, OR6, SR6, halo, CF3, OCF3, COOR6, SO2NR6R7, CONR6R7, NR6R7, NHCOR6, where R6 and R7 are the same or different and are selected from H or C1- alkyl 4 and * represents the point of attachment to the carbonyl group, or if appropriate, its salts and / or isomers, tautomers, solvates or pharmaceutically acceptable isotopic variations thereof. |
