titleOfInvention USEFUL CYANOPIRIDINE DERIVATIVES IN CANCER TREATMENT AND OTHER DISORDERS
abstract Diaryl ureas, pharmaceutical compositions containing said compounds and the use of these compounds or compositions to treat hyperproliferation and angiogenesis disorders, as the sole agent or in combination with cytotoxic therapies. Claim 1: A compound, characterized in that it is of the formula (1) or a salt, prodrug or a metabolite thereof acceptable for pharmaceutical use, wherein A is optionally substituted pyridinyl or naphthyl bicyclic 8-10 membered heteroaryl groups containing 1 -4 heteroatoms that are O, N, S or combinations thereof, partially saturated bicyclic C8-10 carbocyclic moieties, attached to the urea portion through a benzene group, or bicyclic carbocyclic portions of 8 to 10 partially saturated members , wherein said heterocyclic portions contain 1-4 heteroatoms that are O, N or S, or combinations thereof that bind through the benzene or heteroaryl group of the structure, B is optionally substituted phenyl or naphthyl, L is O or S , m is an integer: 0, 1, 2, or 3, and each R2 is independently selected from C1-5 alkyl, C1-5 haloalkyl, C1-3 alkoxy, N-oxo or N-hydroxyl.
