titleOfInvention COMPRESSED NON-EFFECTIVE TETRAHYDRATED CALCIUM CITRATE OF HIGH CONCENTRATION AND FAST DISINTEGRATION AND DISSOLUTION AND PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING SUCH COMPRESSED
abstract Non-effervescent tetrahydrate calcium citrate tablet, high concentration and rapid disintegration and dissolution and procedure for obtaining said tablet. This tablet comprises an active ingredient of calcium citrate tetrahydrate, a silicon derivative, a sodium carboxymethyl cellulose derivative; and a stearic acid derivative. It is a non-effervescent tablet and its disintegration and dissolution in aqueous media is very fast, even in physiological aqueous media. Therefore it is suitable for application to patients to ingest conventional or effervescent tablets. The process comprises a series of steps in which a first mixture is obtained without the stearic acid derivative. This last sieve is then added, fractionated and compressed until the tablet is obtained.
